OneMind Dogs Coach Katelyn Scott will take handlers through 8 different handling techniques and how to apply them to small sequences. This course is great for dog/handler teams that know how to do jumps and tunnels, and have a basic understanding of the technique covered in each session. Katelyn will also provide links to learn the technique from scratch if you haven’t taken that technique into your toolbox yet.

The guided course will be using course-maps that have already been posted in the forum, and show you how to break down the handling as well as show video of them being run by multiple different dogs.

This guided course follows up the very popular sequencing guided course – Part 1!

How does it work?

Katelyn will post a new session every 2 weeks in the forum. Katelyn will walk and discuss the sequences on video and then run them with her own dogs, helping your learn how to choose and apply handling techniques for your team.

All you need is a few jumps and a tunnel. Katelyn will be happy to help you modify the sequences to fit your space/equipment as needed.

The power of this course is in the community and many people around the world doing the exercises at the same time! Katelyn will give you some tips videos, guidelines and regular tasks to follow and feedback as necessary. You can ask questions and post videos to receive feedback and advice.

What will you learn?

This course involves working through current OneMind Dogs premium content alongside some extra tips videos from Katelyn, to cover all aspects of applying handling techniques to a sequence.

Techniques included in the course are Jaakko Turn, Tunnel Brake, Lapturn, Reverse Wrap, Forced Front Cross, Running On The Dogs Line, Tandem Turn, and Japanese.
