There can never be too much puppiness in our lives, but right now with all the gloomy news around the world, it’s needed more than ever. And what could be a better theme for a holiday than puppies anyway, we can’t think of any! 😍 So get ready for a cuteness overload, National Puppy Day is just around the corner!

National Puppy Day was founded in 2006 by Pet Lifestyle Expert, Animal Behaviorist and Author, Colleen Paige. It is observed on the 23rdof March and is a day for all dogs and their humans, to celebrate the unique friendship between them, and of course all the happiness and joy our four-legged besties bring to our lives every day.

In addition to celebrating our own pups, the day was also established to raise awareness around those pups who haven’t found their forever homes yet. There are many pups in shelters that need love and care as much as our pups do, waiting to get adopted into a loving home. So if you are considering expanding your family with a furry member, make sure to consider adoption as an option too!
