Your Signature

Every team is unique; there is an individual solution for everyone.

Once you have learned all the OneMind Dogs techniques, the next step is for you and your dog to identify the techniques that best suit you as a team. It is like teaching you the alphabet, so that you can write your own signature!

There are not that many things to learn from the different techniques; the goal is to understand how the seven elements help you to practice agility the easiest way - from your dog's point of view. In OneMind Dogs training sessions, our students spend more time thinking than running.

OneMind Dogs coaches Mikko Aaltonen and Mari Kaplas are a great example of very different styles of handling, even though they both use the tools of the same methodology. Take a look at their training video.

Your dog does not care about the results, he just wants to do stuff with you. Take responsibility in your handling and in the way you have trained your dog. When the two of you go out on a course, your dog will do exactly what you have taught him to do, the way the two of you have practiced. It’s up to you.
