"You Can Do It!"

We have received several lovely stories of people experiencing OneMind Moments. Let's hear another story!

We at OneMind Dogs love seeing our students learn and realize something that helps them along their journey in agility. That's why we have decided to share with you stories about people having their OneMind Moments, eye opening moments when they have realized something very important about agility.

Now, let's hear the story by Karen Holik who has had some great moments in OneMind Dogs seminars:

"I met Jaakko and Janita and discovered the OneMind Dogs method at a seminar I attended with my youngest Sheltie. At the time, I was very impressed with how well my Sheltie caught on to the "moves" and how easy it was to train.

After the seminar, I asked Jaakko & Janita to come to Florida in the U.S. to give a seminar the next year. I asked if they could also include a foundation seminar because I just came home with a puppy. Janita asked how old the dog would be when they came and I said one year. She said we would not need foundation at that time, but would be running sequences. I have to admit I thought it was impossible for me to catch on so quickly. But, after working all the "moves" between uprights and at low heights, I am thrilled that my young dog at just a year old held his own at the seminar and even made it through 18 obstacles.

My light bulb moment is that so much can be trained at a young age without any jumping, just rewards, rewards and more rewards. I can't wait to continue his exciting agility career! Thank you Janita for convincing me I could do it and thank you Jaakko for confirming that all "Zenn's can do it !"
