OneMind Dogs Coach Niki Drage

Niki is a passionate and energetic agility coach and competitor from Australia. She has been competing in agility for over 10 years and her passion for the sport continues to grow. In the Australian National Agility Championships Niki and her English Toy Terrier, Envy, won the Masters (top level) Agility finals. Her younger dog, a rescued Staffy x named Flow, won 3 of the heats at the top level and had the fastest time in the final with one bar down.

In their recent State Titles event, the Festival of Agility, Flow won the Jumping Dog of the Year award after a Top 40 ‘winner of winners’ style run off, and also won all 3 Masters games on offer (Gamblers, Snooker and Strategic pairs) across all height classes. Flow also placed 2nd in over 150 dogs in open Agility across all heights and 1st in Masters jumping in her height class. Envy came 1st in Both Masters Agility and Masters Jumping in his height class as well.

OneMind Dogs method’s emphasis on body language and connecting with the dog are the core reasons for Niki to love this method. OneMind Dogs method has made a huge impact on her relationship with her dogs, made her runs feel smooth and almost effortless and significantly increased the amount of clear runs and first places.

What did Niki's students say?

Cornelia Kluck says:
“I could not do agility without online classes from Niki Drage! Niki has such astute observation and really helps improve my handling via online classes - as much as you would expect in face to face teaching! It is her attention to detail that makes her online classes so valuable to the learner! Also her extensive knowledge on training solutions for just about any given scenario or blooper! A top coach, who trained the National All Round Champion and Runner-up to the National Australian Agility Dog of the Year in the 22" height class ONLINE - with one face to face workshop only! We live several hundred kilometers apart!”

Lynn Madden says:
“Online agility classes are how I learnt the skills for agility. Living hours away from instructors they are how I taught myself. It wasn't until I started training with Niki Drage online 18mths ago that my and my dogs skills really started to improve. Her explanations are so clear that it gives me such confidence trying the skills as I feel I have all the elements straight in my mind and then the follow up advice and critique of videos are so helpful to really get the skills perfected. I can't recommend her online courses enough.”
