What is your favourite technique and why?

"It is difficult to choose only one - but one of my favorite techniques is the Flick. I try to be in the right place on course all the time, but sometimes something happens on the course, and the Flick saves my ...."

When did you first start using the Flick?

“I loved the technique as soon as I had introduced my dog to it. But it took some time before I trusted myself to use it in a competition.”

When do you apply the Flick on course?

“When it makes sense to use it. Straight lines with a turn in the other direction - where you need to save time - to get to the next critical point on time.”

What is your best tip for applying the Flick?

“Connection with your dog before take off, the dog has to collect before jumping.”

What sort of dog and handler team is the Flick suited to?

“All teams - but of course with a not so fast dog you can choose another technique where you run more together.”
