We at OneMind Dogs love seeing our students learn and realize something that helps them along their journey in agility. That's why we have decided to share with you stories about people having their OneMind Moments, eye opening moments when they have realized something very important about agility. Let's hear the story by one of the OneMind Dogs Premium members...
"After a hiatus from agility for several years, I am getting back into competing with two completely AWESOME young dogs. I have really struggled with remembering courses and maintaining “flow” when running sequences. Last November, I attended a seminar and left feeling very frustrated by my inability to stay connected and clear with the exercises the instructor set up. After a brief pity party, I set out to resolve this weakness. I began watching handlers and trainers on YouTube and delving into the material at the OneMind Dogs site.
Fast forward to June, our Regional Qualifier for the AAC Nationals. I ran a jumper’s course with my baby dog. We ran clean but the electronic timer was not working. The judge asked if I wanted to run again OR simply take the Standard Course Time. LIGHT BULB MOMENT was the complete and absolute confidence that we could go out and run the course again, cleaner smoother and even better than the first time - and we DID. And guess what - as we learn more … we will do this again :)
Great results are lovely BUT the best HIGH is the level of connection with my dogs. THANK YOU OneMind Dogs for the high standard of teaching you are sharing.
They say that "when the student is ready the teacher appears" - for me and my dogs, at this point in our journey - you Finns are the right teachers!
I know I sound nutty in my enthusiasm ... But ... In all sincerity, with this OneMind Dogs material installed, we will be sure to have more great moments :)
