The annual national Agility Championships were organized last weekend in Finland, OneMind Dogs’ home land. We hope that a lot of the handlers enjoyed working together with their dogs at the challenging event! The championship weekend was very successful for OneMind Dogs Coaches and handlers.

Leading OneMind Dogs Coach Janita Leinonen and Border Collie Fu won both team and individual gold at the Championships. OneMind Dogs Coach Tuulia Liuhto nd Border Collie Pirtu also brought home two medals: team gold and individual silver. Janita and Tuulia shared the team gold with OneMind Dogs Coach Timo Liuhto and Border Collie Punssi as well as OneMind Dogs Coach Elina Jänesniemi and Border Collie Omie.
Several of OneMind Dogs Coaches' students did well at the championships! At the large individuals class Riina Koskelma and Border Collie Zoi won bronze! Heidi-Maria Puolakka was 5th, Mari Lukkarinen 8th and Tiina Koistinen 9th. Sanna Ahola won the bronze medal at medium invididual class and Maria Salonen was 6th in the small individual class.
Anu Kylvén, Kaisa Ylä-Tuuhonen and their team mates won medium team gold. Kaisa Lampén, Annina Myllyaho and their team mates won small team silver. Mikael Mildh, Heidi Kohonen, Tiina Kontto and their team mates brought home small team bronze. Mikael and his other Parson Russell Terrier Nipa placed 12th at the medium individual class.
All in all the championship weekend was amazingly successful for OneMind Dogs handlers. We got to enjoy exciting runs. You could really see the love in agility and handlers’ trust in their dogs! We rejoiced the successes of our all our friends and students.
